Faculty & Staff

We believe that great teachers are our best asset.

In a Montessori school, the faculty and staff play crucial roles in creating a nurturing and educational environment that aligns with the Montessori philosophy. Below are some typical roles you might find.

Montessori Trained Teacher

OMBA Lead teachers have specific training in the Montessori method, which emphasizes independence, freedom within limits, and respect for the child’s natural psychological development.

Assistant Teachers

They support the Montessori trained teachers in the classroom, helping to maintain order and provide individualized attention to students.

Montessori Coordinator-Director

Oversees the implementation of Montessori principles throughout the school, supports teachers, and communicates with parents about the Montessori approach.

Administrative Staff

Includes roles such as the principal or head of school, who manage the overall operations, curriculum development, and school policies.

Parent Volunteers

Often encouraged in Montessori schools, parents may volunteer in various capacities, from assisting in classrooms to participating in school events and fundraisers.

In Montessori schools, the emphasis is not just on academic achievement but also on fostering a supportive community where each child can develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually at their own pace. Therefore, the faculty and staff are carefully selected and trained to uphold these principles and provide a holistic educational experience.
